Initiation, that is what I think of about the Mayan Retreat with AumRak. What a wonderful experience it was, being with great women, a graceful leader and feeling like the entire week was about us and our own personal integration.
The ceremonies, experiences and the accommodations were just perfect. I enjoyed the sacredness of each moment as we flowed through different journeys of spirituality, culture, and being allowed to just be with nature and the beautiful grounds of Hacienda San Lucas or each place we visited.
The guides on each tour and trip were wonderful. I was appreciative of the staff and food that were offered, sustenance not only for our bellies, but for our soul.
I was especially thankful for the group of ladies. Not often can that number of ladies gather without some type of conflict, but I believe it was AumRak’s grace that holds steady a sense of peace, responsibility and maturity, and that example is exactly what women who work with healing need to see, in order to support our peers in the true feminine divine grace. I felt a sense of peace as I returned home, a realistic ability to move forward with all of the wishes and blessings that were elevated during this trip.

I heard the call to sit in this sacred land with amazing women as a song rides on the wind. I knew in my heart I wanted to sit with Aum Rak at these temples of the lands she knows and walks. I wanted to sit with women and recieve initiations together.
I truly felt I was in a place of belonging. The sweet songs from Aum Rak's flute, all the amazing women who came to sing their unique gifts out into the world from deep with in. We came for the healing it provides to gather , to harmonize, and to amplify together with the lands and sacred waters. A dynamic moment in time moving with the cosmic and earthly mirrors .
Aum Rak opened space for me to accept my mirror in fire, water, earth and song. I could feel the vibration and hear the pulse of the mother singing to me . I felt so very open here and greatful to sit in ancient places and pray, sit in the healing waters and sit in that temple of witness and being.
The retreat house is simply amazing, beautiful and peaceful. A sanctuary of the arts, portal of multiple dimensions where trees and birds and views speak the many wheels of time . The "cocineras" cooked their incredible gormet meals, the macaws flew in brilliant colors over each direction calling to the trees .
Yoga each morning with Kim was so much apart of tapping into and integrating the magic of the group and keeping us in touch with our bodies, our senses.
The archeology hit a personal note for me as it bridged and rekindled aspects of my life. Standing on the horizons of science and culture, people and nature, time and cosmos... and spirit interrelating and indistinguishably intriguing us to listen closer and understand better.
This was an amazing and healing retreat with Aum Rak. Bella Retreats were so accommodating with travel. Even when there were hiccups, Una was all the way on board and assisting to foster a state of ease, equilibrium and safe arrivals... not to mention bringing amazing retreats and people together globally. So very grateful and inspired by what Bella Retreats is offering.
The Healing Maya retreat with Aum Rak was a transformational and pivotal experience that I will be integrating and weaving into my life, my art and my being .
